How To Decorate Cookies With Royal Icing Pearls and Brush Embroidery
е:
If you’ve been following my blog for the last couple of months, you know that I’ve been testing out a few different ideas for wedding cookies. These cookies with brush embroidered lace and royal icing pearls are in the running to be my favors! At the moment, I have big plans to make my own cookies for my wedding. We’ll see how that goes!
Here’s what you’ll need for this project:
Medium consistency royal icing
12″ decorating bags
Decorating tip 3 and leaf tip 352
Wax paper (I wrapped mine around a Plexiglas board, but a cake board would work, too)
White pearl dust
Bronze pearl dust
Wide, soft brush
Palette or small dish
Alcohol or flavored extract for mixing with the pearl dust
Scribe tool
3″ round cookies (my Orange Vanilla Spice recipe is available in the tutorial shop)
1-1/2″ round cookie cutter
Square tip brush
Edible wafer paper roses
Colors:
Light brown = Americolor Chocolate Brown + a touch of Wilton Juniper Green
Green = Wilton Juniper Green from the Garden Tone Set
These cookies would be great for Mother’s Day and perfect for wedding favors!
