My own Birthday cake:
This Italian buttercream is silky and smooth, not too sweet and delicious. Can be used to frost and decorate cakes and cupcakes.
The ingredients:
-for the sugar syrup-
232 grams of white sugar
6 tablespoon of water
-for the meringue/egg mixture-
116 egg whites or 3 eggs
1/4 tsp of salt
1 tsp of lemon juice
1/4 tsp of cream of tartar (if not using lemon juice)
272 of room temperature unsalted butter
food coloring
flavoring
