The leaf of Kuzi are similar to that of eggplant, so it’s also called the wild eggplant. Kuzi is very common along the river bank and on the hillside. It has a slightly bitter taste, but to us in Yunnan, it’s a unique flavor that we will never get tired of. Stewed cow’s trotter with Kuzi, Braised tomato with Kuzi or Kuzi Sapie are all very delicious.
