How to Make a Mini MAGIC BALL (Dragon’s Egg) | Easiest Method

In this tutorial for the Origami Mini Magic Ball (sometimes called the Dragon Egg or Dragon’s Egg because of the cool exterior look), I explain the easiest way I know how to make or fold it — (btw if you have UltraHD or ability for 4K watch it in super high quality!).

This is an awesome Origami Action Toy that squishes, transforms, and is otherwise just fun to play with and is great for relieving stress!

EVEN SO, I classify this model as a High Intermediate/Low Advanced model because of the repetitive amount of folds and attention to details, not because of its difficulty. It is tedious (time consuming) so try it when you have free time set aside.

For this model, we’re going to use a 1:2 proportion/ratio paper. I will be using an 8.5×11″ printer sheet, but you can use pretty much any kind of paper. Tape WILL be necessary for this model. Though there are methods for joining the ends together without it, I found it much simpler to learn this way first.

This is one of the most challenging video tutorials I’ve ever worked on, taking weeks to plan out and edit, reviewing 10s (if not 100s) of times and just making sure the quality was top notch.
