This delicious cake is often enjoyed with tea after dinner in homes across Ukraine and Russia! The custard creme recipe I’m sharing with you was passed down to me from my mother, who has been making this cake and creme for years and years!
For the final presentation, I used a spoonful of left-over custard and topped with caramel wafers from Trader Joe’s and fresh berries.
