SBS filament from BestFilament code name Watson
е:
Watson (SBS) filament from BestFilament.
Thermoplastic polymer SBS for 3D printing
Strength, ductility and heat resistance (~75 C°).
What distinguishes SBS from classic ABS or PLA?
Almost no shrinkage. The modulus of elasticity is much smaller than that of ABS. That is, the printed parts are more flexible.
SBS is not afraid of open air and drafts. Good sticking to the bed. It is possible to print on a cold bed using some tricks. The material is well suited for printing large-scale layouts.
The material is transparent — 93% light transmission.
The material is ideal for printing plafonds luminaries, prototypes of transparent glassware, bottles, etc.
Staining the material gives very nice effect.
HotEnd: 200 — 220 C°.
HotBed: 0 — 70 C°.
Safe
The material does not have an unpleasant odor when printed. I would say more — it does not smell at all. In addition, the feedstock is completely safe, has safety certificates and a certificate for access to food. It is recommended by the manufacturer for making, including, medical products and children’s toys.
Easy to post-processing
SBS dissolves in solvent and limonene. With its help you can achieve visual effect of the glass. Источник видео youtube.com/watch?v=GdYH5MzxFHM
