My 2 year old daughter has mastered the upper case letters and numbers. I got this so she can learn the lowercase letters. This set comes with 62 magnets. You get 26 uppercase letters, 26 lowercase letters and 10 numbers. Each letter and number is 1.75″ tall. They all with the exception of two have one half inch magnet on them. The «m» and «w» are the only two that have two magnets on them. The letters are made of plastic. They are too thin in my opinion. You can easily bend them with one hand. The plastics are BPA and lead free. It is also waterproof. The magnets so far has stayed in them. They are colorful as well. So not only do you learn the letters and numbers, you can also learn the colors. Overall, it does the job of sticking to a magnetic surface. I just feel it is too thin and feels cheap when you take it out of the box / bag.
