This painting specifically has been created out of my imagination. There’s no reference photo used.
If you do create a copy — selling a copy or submitting to contests, claiming as you are the original artist is prohibited. Copyrights violations.
Watercolors: Quinacridone Red, Phthalo Blue Red Shade, Indigo, White Gouache.
I used angular brushes for the main washes 1/2,3/4 and for small details small round brushes 0,1.
I created this video just to show you how to paint clouds with white gouache. You can choose just to do the first layer, which is very washed off and light BUT if you like the paintings to be more vibrant and rich in colors like I do, you can continue adding layers of Quinacridone Red and play with the white gouache.
White gouache is an opaque watercolor, so regular watercolors are transparent but gouache is opaque. I personally do not like chinese white or titanium white watercolor and that’s how I discovered White Gouache 🙂
